Terms & Policies

Please read these policies before booking a repair with Protega Fix.

Inspection policy

Inspection charges are payable upfront. Charges may be adjusted against the final repair bill depending on category and repair value. For custom repairs, a detailed inspection report will be shared before quoting.

Pickup and delivery policy

Pickup and delivery charges may be non-refundable. High-value items require photo/video documentation at pickup and delivery. Logistics timelines may vary based on location and service availability.

Quote approval policy

No repair starts without customer approval. Custom quote repairs are valid for a limited time. If customer rejects quote after inspection, inspection and logistics charges remain payable.

Repair warranty policy

Warranty applies only to the repaired part, not the entire product. Water damage repairs carry limited or no warranty. Parts are charged extra unless mentioned in the service description.

Payment policy

Payments can be made via online gateway (Razorpay), UPI, bank transfer, or cash as approved by admin. Protega claim settlements are processed separately.

Cancellation policy

Orders can be cancelled before repair begins. Cancellation after inspection may incur inspection and logistics charges.

Rework policy

If a repair does not meet quality standards, customers can raise a rework request within the warranty period. Rework is subject to inspection.

Damage documentation policy

High-value items require photo/video documentation at pickup and delivery. This protects both customer and service professional.

Beyond economical repair policy

Protega Fix may recommend replacement if the product is beyond economical repair. Customer will be informed before any decision.

Protega claim repairs policy

For insurance/warranty/Protega protection plan claims, repair estimates follow a separate approval flow. Claim decision may be repair approved, replacement recommended, beyond economical repair, or rejected.
